🤖 Countries are beginning to address #AI, but there's more to do. The Barometer shows growing awareness of the need for ethical, inclusive, and accountable data use for AI.
🟢 #Transparency frameworks are developing, though gaps remain in areas such as political finance, beneficial ownership, and lobbying registers. Improved interoperability is needed to connect data across these domains.
🔑 Some key learnings:
🟢 Data governance frameworks are expanding, but implementation remains uneven, especially where institutional capacity is still developing. The Barometer confirms a correlation between stronger governance and improved data availability.
