I only know her by this photo and that she worked on Mac's UI and font.
I'm not an Apple historian, so seeing people besides Jobs is surprising to me😅

YouTube started suggesting me Steve Jobs things, and I said "ok I'll bite".
Then I got jumpscared by Susan Kare👀

I feels this so much...
I've seen one convention that only post updates in Japanese on Twitter, and most up to date info in Chinese on Telegram🤡
I'll be fixing my TKL keyboard instead of using my current full size keyboard, which should reduce the strain on my right shoulder.
Or maybe I should get one of those Wa~A~v~V~v~Y~y ergonomic keyboards🤔
Bought a second hand vertical mouse.
This is my first time using one, and it's really quite nice!! Instead of using ulnar/radial deviation to move the mouse, I'm now using flexion/extension, which feels less strenuous and more dexterous.
They look really nice, but the downsides of acrylic is that they are more easy to scratch, and they are static-y and they track a lot of lint and dust.
Not sure how other people deal with this issue🤔
These fursuit glasses with transparent acrylic sheets as lenses came out so nice!!!
I do prefer Denis Villeneuve's reverend mother more, the hat is tall and foreboding, she looks like a chess piece;
The hairless look in Lynch's version is also very good at making the bene gesserit look unique and odd.
Also shout out to Dracula's armor in Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992) and the diver suit thing in The Cell (2000)!
Hot take: David Lynch's Dune's stillsuit looks cooler?
And we are now labeled!
PS:
I only discovered my label maker can print two rows half way making the labels, I could've save some tape💔 Also, I don't know what some of the items sounds better in singular in my head, while others in plural make more sense to me...
The brake has been rubbing off on my fingers, so I put a heat shrink tubing on it🙃
The theme for #Infurnity2026 is The Last of Furs.
As a person who's really into space stuffs, I want to make the Mecury helmet seen in the HBO The Last of Us TV show for my fursuit.
I just realized some people might confused me as Laika or Cosmo (MCU's version of Laika)?😂
Today Rhylo learns:
Daredevil/Charlie Cox is British!??!?!?!😱

The laptop has two removable batteries, both of them won't charge. I decided to just plug one in and see what happens, it charged 7% after 7 seven hours. I left it charged overnight, and it's 100% now😱! The other battery also charged fully overnight.
Must have been some kind of deep sleep mode...?🤔
I buy Sortmasters when they are on discount or when I really need one, but maybe I should buy two more to complete the set?😅
Also I should really label them!
Also also I should build something similar for my Makita Makpacs, they stack together we'll, but it's hard to pull one the one at the bottom.
I was really frustrated fixing my scooter, so I built a cabinet for my Stanley Sortmasters🔨
(I built the right one a while ago, using scraps; the new one is built using mostly new wood)
Three out of four wheels have a flat spot💔
Why do you think my tool trolley is making this sound?
capture runner!?
As is motion/performance capture?
That's cool!
This means you don't have to charging equipments at home, and you "top off" the battery charge at the station similar to going to a gas station. Literally zero charge time.
I guess this only works in a small country, where electric grids are already developed, and stations are easy to deployed
My scooter is electric by the way! It's made by Gogoro, a pretty neat implementation IMO:
-The scooter has two batteries that you can pull out (
à la power cells in Titanfall)
-Charging stations are littered through out the city
-You swap the depleted batteries with charged ones
It doesn't make finacial sense, at all, but...
1. We choose to go to the moon not because it's easy, but because we thought it's easy.
2. I really get why people restore cars now, it's kind of fun!
I ended up...
1. Put the old buttons back on
2. Pull this little plastic piece off the new buttons
3. Use it to replace the broken piece on the old buttons
Overall, I spent 5 hours to save 44 USD, totally worth it🤡
Nope!
The buttons fit the old plastic housing just fine, but the buttons are hardwired to the wiring harness. As you can see in the video, something isn't right about the wiring harness. (The hazard light shouldn't be lighting up when you turn the handle to the left😭)
Bought a salvage replacement for the buttons-assembly. It turns out it's not the same SKU, so the plastic housing is slightly different despite having identical buttons.
No sweat, I just have to transplants the buttons from the salvage assembly to the original, I get new buttons with old housing.
Well duh squats is a multiple joint movement, even I know that🤓☝️
Found the little blue flag thingy for the ribbon cable of the trackpad. Putting it back in place restored the trackpad and left mouse click function, but the right click is still not working🫠
The WiFi/Bluetooth board only has one screw, potentially a cost cutting measure? 👀
Life hack:
Remove the optical drive from a laptop to make it weight less🤡
(Don't be like me, I accidentally killed the trackpad ribbon cable in the process😭 It's fine, it's tiny and not very good to begin with)
