The key is finding candidates that already are great fits for this environment.
A substantial portion of all this cannot be thought, regardless of effort.
And that pool is *much* smaller that the one of people looking for remote jobs.
I’ve been learning and iterating on this the last 8 years
It’s also not just about learning to value and employ sync first collaboration where it shines.
Most importantly, it’s not just about building and curating a remote environment.
This is a great topic and it leads to one of the often buried truths of remote environments.
It’s not just about doing live pairings, favoring written communication, favoring as-short-as-possible communication feedback loops.
