Packaging of floss from Oral B, where there is clearly space for another pack of floss. The package only packs three and leaves the other bit with a piece of cardboard
This is some bullshit packaging

Fuck you. Fuck off right out of here with that bullshit
The Internet was a doubly-linked list all along
Iβve already tried resetting the HPM and toggling all the explicit track options I can find in settings. Even submitted feedback which will probably be ignored. Shouldβve just gotten another speaker..
Time of year again where Apple Music asks me if Iβm over 18 to listen to explicit tracks (Korean law). But this time my HomePod Mini has stopped playing them altogether even after verification. Very frustrating

Love to see this from the Korean government. It's a good food program for those in need and it represents society best when we can make sure there are no hungry people. I don't want anybody saying we don't have the ability or resources to feed everyone.
I know parents are prolly frantic to find their kids but sending four alerts consecutively at 6 in the morning just incentivizes people to turn that off
Amber alerts really be like "yes I expect you to drop everything and go look for a car, driven by someone that has just abducted a child and could be dangerous" lol
A Windows error dialog. The title text reads: (Windows error X icon) ms-screenclip://?source=PrintScreen The body text reads: (Windows error X icon) This file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action. Please install an app or, if one i already installed, create an association in the Default Apps Settings page.
binbows 11 ai slop edition when you ask to take a screenshot
And the dialog/prompt can be more easier to understand by showing passkey count if implemented. Ex: we see 15 passkeys in Bitwarden, 0 in iCloud. Make the Bitwarden option bigger and prominent and entice rapid-trigger users to click that. (2/2)
True! I guess most of it comes down to OSes trying to use sane defaults, but often they try and force you into a walled garden (ex. iCloud)
Might be nice if the OS/browser reprompts if it detects a new provider, just like how Android asks how intents should be handled if a new app is installed(1/2)
Also I should probably apologize, you seem very enthusiastic about passkeys and I didn't mean my original post to come off as 'passkeys are the bane of the universe". I just think the state as it is right now can be a bit better for end-users to grasp
To clarify, I am perfectly aware of the rough edges
It's just hard to explain to others not to rapid-click prompts => oh, the passkey's on device A but not B
Or "I saved the passkey in the manager like you told me to but it's gone" because some botched update changed passkey provider defaults.
Because passkeys are still quite bad to use. Sure, it's getting better, but I still have to teach my family to save passkeys in their PW managers while their OS tries to wrest it for themselves. More rough edges but too many to list in one post.
I still like the concept, but it's messy in practice.
Moving passkeys across password managers isn't supported right now, but I can at least look for `fido2Credentials:` in my BW export. Passkeys suck so much it's not even funny
for context, this was what they were handing out in 2018

yeah it's a big yikes. it's just as bad as the infamous delta one:

the freebie earbuds that korean air hands out turned out to be surprisingly good (considering they're free!) see links for the freq. resp. graphs but they're not the typical bargain bin crap that I expected. very nice!

when will bluesky support TOTP 2FA... or passkeys... no more email/text 2FA, that's lazy
Fuck Philips, all my homies use Torx
If you are a product designer please for the love of god never ever use Philips
Bought a new iPhone for my dad and the Signal transfer took longer than the entire iPhone transfer. We had to wait in the store for hours. How come it isn't part of the iPhone transfer? I get not wanting to keep app data on iCloud, but we used a wire transfer and I think that's secure enough.
Received a phishing email that hosts the form on Cloudflare R2. Submitted an abuse report and got an automated reject because it couldn't recognize the fact that the phishing form is generated first by a proxy URL. Replied with more details and got rebuffed by another automated page. WTF, Cloudflare

Slightly busy weekend; hopefully I catch up soon. Rust's iterators made this day really nice to write!
