To celebrate the launch of the @npmx.dev alpha, I wrote up a guide on how to make your first contribution to an open-source project.
Let me know if this helps you make your first contribution (and it doesn't have to be code)!

Lovely to see this evolve over the past weeks. Cheers to all the effort and care folks have put into this!
I only use it when it's like "this will break prod" level errors, heh. Otherwise same here with all your other buckets.
huh, that is really interesting. I might need to do some experimenting ๐ค
Pretty sure I made this promise long ago, but it never resolved. AbortController didn't exist yet!
guess you need to worker it
so much this, my cats put their face right on my nose if I don't get up early enough or otherwise don't feed them on time
When did it start for you? I've been getting like 1-3 waves a day for like a week now.
Oh cool, yea that's what I used on the TV actually. I've used both, but that's a little bit nicer. Wasn't certain if it would be on the steamdeck though.
Does the steam link work on the steam deck? Not quite as convenient, but could work. I sometimes do that for the "party games" except streamed to the TV in the other room.
Heartbreaking. Take the time to read this post. We're doing such a terrible job as a society in distributing resources. Emelia's work is so valuable. We need her focused on open networks. She would be fully funded in any sane universe. Hire her. Or donate to help her thrive so she can help us.
Protests happen, but most of what is happening in Minneapolis isnโt protesting.

Interop is brilliant. Aligning the efforts of all browsers around crucial focus areas every year is doing wonders for interoperability, and its effect is compounding.
Hah look what the algorithm sent me!

It's awful. I think I had like 2 captcha per package and a "bot wait" once I got a few packages into it.
Yea, and the different cycles and stuff. Mine will like pause between some steps.. Happy to lend brain cycles for Home Assistant if you need, been running it for years now. About to jump into presence detection now that I've got the "wifey at home" sensor working and I can turn it off when she is ๐
The only alternative that I could find was Aeotec Power Monitor or the Sense Energy Monitor. Both are pricey though so I haven't bit the bullet yet, other priorities.
Vibration sensor is probably cheapest to test. If you run Home Assistant, you could make a fancy, derived sensor with on/off state.
All the smart plugs in the US seem to have small load limits and get hot. It does definitely seem like EU / non-US have more open utilities, and their power phase / base plug is better suited. I happened to get a washer and dryer with a connection built-in, for better or worse...
Presuming it doesn't have something built-in that you hook up, monitoring the energy source could be an option. You can't use the cheap smart plugs though, so likely something at the electrical panel.

Right on time. Arriving in the Chrome Stable release in approximately one month!
I've turned on automatic tab closing on my new phone, in part, because my previous phone still has 300 tabs open. It's jarring but... I think I might like the forced cleansing? Helps to force me to immediately shift something to a long term location if I really care.

Looked amazing over in Wisconsin as well!
Certainly curious where you end up!
Make it with Vulkan and it will mark an evolution into nu metal.
But honestly, their hand/eye coordination caught up pretty quick. Like programming, the difficult part isn't writing the code ๐ its the communication and coordination!
