A black and white is cat sitting on a footpath. The cat is crouching low, looking as if it is going to run away if the person taking the photo gets any closer. On the right of the frame are green plants growing over a fence, some ferns visible. Fallen frangipani leaves lie on the path in front of the the cat below the fence

Looking up from the street at the side of a building with windows reflecting a construction crane and trees. The building was finished in the 1950s and is state heritage listed, in the modernist style of architecture. The crane is on a constructions site, a few doors up, that will be a 39 floor building, now almost completed.

An incoming southerly storm over the city of Sydney. The sky is dramatic with grey clouds to the right and bright light and lighter clouds to the left. The south end of the city buildings are seen as almost in silhouette, as are some of those in Pyrmont. One of the tall buildings to the right has reflected light from the city buildings reflected on one side of it, facing away from the incoming storm giving the impression the sun is shining directly in it. In the foreground is water, a bay, with boats and yachts moored at a jetty.

Two gum trees next to each other, the left in an unseen garden, the right on the unseen street, Their tops only are seen above other smaller unidentified trees. In the background are clouds, darker towards the horizon. The sun is out, making shadows on some of the trees.

Inside a Sydney Metro carriage, looking forward towards the front. The sign for the next station indicates Waterloo with exit to the right of the frame. The seats are along the sides of the carriage facing in, people can be seen sitting throughout the carriages, mostly their lower torso. Hand rails are silver with lime green where hands would be holding them, and can be seen the length of the metro.

A bench sitting on a concrete slab in a local park. The bench is green with black feet and hand rails. On the side facing the frame the name of the park is seen in capital letters on the black part of the bench, Louisa Lawson Reserve. Around the slab is green grass, seen at the right of the frame. Behind the bench is a garden bed, with agapanthus plants at the top left of the frame. A path runs along the top of the frame, made of unidentifiable pavers.
Not sure which local park you're in? Look to the bench.

Haha! Itβs part of a bankβs logo. I didnβt want to give them free advertising but I wanted the reflection, and also something red.
Looking at the windows of a building from street level. The ground level is retail, this particular space that of a bank, NAB, with part of its logo visible on the right of the frame. The logo is a many pointed red star with a line and the letters n a b in white lower case below. Reflections on the window show the MLC building and a tree across the road. On the footpath outside the building is a power pole with plant pots around it with green plants, also reflected in the window.
A building window behind a bus stop that I've spent rather a lot of time at in the last year or so, on the weekend finally took a photo.

A full moon, not quite in total eclipse but close to. A sliver of white is seen a the bottom of the moon, red for the rest. Photo taken 8 November 2022, hand held in Sydney.
Memories are close as I may get to seeing tonight's eclipse with my own eyes, because of course, cloud cover. There is still time, she says, wishfully thinking
It will be streamed but it's not the same

I will. I go most years, and always bring gumboots just in case.
Indeed, that is the biggest task now crossed of the list. A day or two of 'me' than back to smaller, far more manageable, and less urgent tasks. And a week or so in the mountains for the music festival, and friends and much merriment.
Looking into an empty room with a kitchen at the end. Windows are seen above the kitchen bench. The front door is at the left of the frame, open, from where the photo was taken. Both rooms are empty. The carpet in the front room is brown, the walls beige. A smoke alarm is on the white ceiling along with a curly energy lightbulb.
A final interior, the end of my mother's tenancy. Done and dusted, also cleaned, wiped and vacuumed.

A puddle on the street, with a driveway, kerb and gutter, and road in view. Reflected on the puddle is a street tree with a garden in pots at the base. A geranium with a red flower stands out among the brown. Other trees growing on the street are also visible in the reflection on the puddle, along with a power pole. The sky is grey with rain clouds so the scene is also a bit grey, as it's in between rain showers.

A view of the entrance of a 'mixed Gothic' style church from a distance but some zoom used, showing the door, and sandstone surrounds and open black gate. The door is red. Officially it is The Holy Trinity Anglican Church, but known as The Garrison Church as it was the first military church built in colonial Australia.

Clouds in blue sky. One of the cumulus clouds looks like there could be two eyes and two ears that could be interpreted as some sort of creature's face looking down.
Two eyes in the clouds? Some sort of creature looking down?
