Do you draw these while being in VCs with people? (Wondering about that stretch break in the middle)
I need to preface this with the fact that I hate AI and don't use it. However, it is dangerous to assume all code generated by AI is shit, especially when used for something like creating a helper function or doing what could be considered automatic copy paste, especially when used by a programmer.
This does kind of lock out new people from contributing and kinda defeats the purpose of collaborative effort if only a few people can contribute....
Now explain that they shouldn't use genAI features to someone who doesn't hate genAI and just views it as a tool. And I feel like it would use too many resources to for every single small PR to check for if a person is an ai hater, and some people may just hide their AI use.
It's kinda impossible to do that.... I have to be honest I don't think you have really written much code in your life or have seen many of the programming genAI things that exist. Yeah vibe coding can be checked for but something like in-line competion is hard to check for.
Also it can cause your skills to atrophy down. But also things like having AI give you suggestions about why your code doesn't work exist. And does AI generate your code in that context? Not really but it is a use of genAI. Anyways,I have been quite against using it myself, I like my code to be mine
Well, sadly it likely will happen, and it won't be their fault, it is also why they can't guarantee no ai code in their code base. But once again, it wouldn't be the fault of their own. AI code that isn't vibe coded and/or is cleaned is hard to detect.
Sadly programming is the thing where genAI is probably easiest to use unnoticed and where genAI is least hated. Vibe coding? A lot of people hate vibe coding. But something like multi-line auto complete? Well it saves time and you can still feel in control (even if it can actually slow you down)
No I wouldn't, it isn't their fault. I feel like I made that quite clear in my message, but then again I hate the 300 character limit quite a bit. I was saying that especially because it wouldn't be their fault. And I don't think they deserve the blame they are getting even tho they did right thng
However there are also features like full-line completion which just completes your line of code, usually with the code you are already about to type. It is also possible to disable and runs on your computer, but it is something that wouldn't really show its use when code reviewing.
This is especially hard to do when most IDEs have some genAI features that people may not even think about too much. For example intelliJ has the obviously genAI and meh things like a chat window for vibe coding and full function auto complete (Thankfully very much possible to disable)
I feel like it might be important to note that they can't really guarantee that there never will be any genai code in their code base (from outside contributions). They are an open source project, and anyone who isn't vibe coding can easily make the output of a slop machine look like human output.
... Also two of them do have to do with the hexcasting minecraft mod.
I thought it's about time I also post a few of my older works that I still like, do note that my art style has changed quite a bit since then and that this are not in the order in which I made them. They do also all have quite a bit of time and art progress between each other.... #art
Correction: slightly worse, it isn't much worse. Should have proof read ooops
A drawing of a girl in a blue dress sitting on a cliff surrounded by blue flowers.
I have been doing a lot of sketching practice however my ability to work with colours has gotten much worse (I haven't really used much of the things I learned during my sketching practice here though)
And you also make it sound godly. I'd imagine that's like a step or ten in your music process
happy birthday!
Next time I should probably zoom out my canvas since this is like 3 pixel resolution.
Sometimes I let my intrusive thoughts win. So anyways......
I wonder what would happen if you wrote to them about this
a drawing of a girl wearing a witch hat flying on a broom
I haven't posted this until recently, but here is a drawing I finished about a month ago. It's not the best but I did learn a bit more about the tools I use that will help me speed up certain parts of my workflow.

What's the feed?
Seems like bsky is gonna get more artists
I mean this does also mean that I would have to either buy the music or use one of those youtube to mp3 converters because some music isn't available on bandcamp or itunes store.... But it's cool..... I like actually downloading music.
Happy birthday!
As a person who refuses to get a twitter acc (For multiple reasons such as (but not limited to): being unable to see things without an account, grok, algorithm that likes toxicity etc)
It's great to see people from doujin music scene here, I've been feeling like I will be missing out without twitter
Welcome! Welcome! It's nice seeing more people using bsky..... Even if it is just temporary.
An illustration of a fairy using a stupidly large quill to write some magic circle-esque runes onto a parchment that she is holding.
I haven't drawn humans in a while, it has also been years since the last time I had line art in my art. #art
