I am stable and happy for the first time in what feels like decades and I am reconciling with so many levels of trauma at the moment. But I am going to acknowledge that and also be thankful that I did get the surgery, I never even in my wildest dreams imagined I would. So happy pussy day for me ✨

It’s cost me so much and I have not once even had the conversation about me as a woman, transitioning or what steps to take. I have done everything right and I really feel like it’s been the bare minimum from day one.

I think this is the first time in 8 years I have reflected and celebrated any of it… I was given the wrong medication for 2+ years and humiliated as mistakes were made with my care that kept me from living my life as I spend all my time money and energy fighting for adequate care.

I don’t think my experience is completely unique but it does sting a bit that I am only really trying out make-up now, wearing dresses and doing the things I should have started doing years ago when I first wanted to..
