but i feel that in most of these games, the fact that the automatic hitscan weapon has no gimmick is what makes it unique when every other weapon as a wacky win condition
i thing i see happen a lot in conversations about fps games with unique weapons (usually hero shooters) is that people cannot handle a normal hitscan weapon being as it is, people view them as boring and that they NEED to have a wacky gimmick attached to it
We are shackled by the algorithm..
if there werent like 3 helicopter boss fights
if the theming was more unique than 50 cent being in the middle ease, if there were less random qtes, if they didnt have cod style rail shooter sections, if the enemy ai was actually aggressive, if the resources were actually scarce
randomly thinking about it, if 50 Cent: Blood On The Sand wasn't plagued by the trends of it's time it could genuinely have been remembered for more than just being a 50 cent video game
