Oh that’s even better! I did get the fun thing of having the customs officers say “Son, have you ever been in trouble with the law.”, but legally dead??? That’s gotta be a bureaucratic nightmare.

Technically I was only actually missing for a few hours, but Oakland PD never marked me as found or closed the case. So I was officially missing for years until going through passport control coming back into the US and got flagged. So… made harder, but not by much.

I was a missing person for ~6 years or so as a kid.

I really want to escape to somewhere else, but everywhere is having at least a mild decent into fascism, even if it’s only a little. And so letting three “low value” trans people into basically any country isn’t gonna work. We’ve been trying to find somewhere. But there isn’t anywhere.

And the “haven” of my home state has a fucking raging transphobe for governor, who the cis keep saying I have to vote for for president in a couple years. Keep having to say to my friends, family, and fucking parents to back someone else, and it’s exhausting.

This is why I’m so fucking exhausted. No fucking support anymore. Can’t trust the cis to have my back at all. I know they’d turn me in with no hesitation to keep from having consequences themselves.

We always had the smuckers ones, and my sis and I would play concentration. Was really fun when they weren’t balanced amounts too!!
