Just "remains" maybe?
I'm a software developer who sometimes has to build things based on crappy doodles. They frequently contain more useful information than a glossy mockup, since the person making them can only include what they consider to be the most important parts of their vision, and that can help us prioritize.
Reddit post on r/isthisai: "My mum put these photos on the wall and they look a bit too artificial to me.. Are they AI?" Illustration of a pickle with a face and arms staring in horror at a jar of sliced pickles
no, it took the photographer hours to line up that shot
Thank you for this. The two questions I had about this law are "how did such a well-organized campaign with such a specific goal come to be?" and "who stands to make money off of this?" and you answered both of them clearly.

I thought for sure that he had woven his last dream, but that's one thing I'm happy to be wrong about!
I don't know why other people do it, but when I choose the evil options in video games, it's usually just out of a sense of mischief. Video games let you break rules without getting in trouble IRL or hurting a real person, and that can be fun in certain settings.
I kind of actually do this for real. I have some friends who have really good taste and other friends who have compulsions to optimize everything. So I just do what they do and it's good enough most of the time.
Watch someone from the Emma Repairs YouTube channel -- presumably Emma herself -- repair and restore this old Rhodes piano. It's a detailed account of a comprehensive rebuild, so you can see everything.

There was no epiphany or anything -- I just learned stuff over a long period of time.
Wait, are people still using phpMyAdmin in 2025?
Setting the moral issues aside -- which is difficult to do -- I think source of the disparity is that Trump doesn't have a base of voters or donors who want the tariffs -- it's only Trump who wants them for his own weird reasons. The other stuff, while horrible, is what they elected him to do.
I, too, am your huckleberry

The thing is, I can *remember* being able to hear the high pitched sounds emitted by electronics. I can play back the sounds in my head, but I can't hear it with my ears anymore, and I expect I'll never be able to hear it again.
I did, but now I don't.

No kidding: I had trouble reading this, and it reminded me that I needed my reading glasses. :-(
I can't find a picture of the cover art that isn't just a black square, but the first album I ever bought with my own money was Metallica's black album. I wish I had better taste when I was 13, but that comes later on in life.
I mean, you're not wrong.
For what little my opinion is worth, *this* white guy thinks forgiveness is a gift, and Rebecca doesn't have to give it if she isn't feeling generous.
Serious question: is this what Steve Jobs would have done?
