If you have the financial safety net, hell yeah, go for it, you can always come back to art. I've got more thoughts, but Bluesky posts are too short to lay my thoughts out

After reading your other replies, not to discourage you, but may I offer my 2 cents. As such an accomplished artist you HAVE the work ethic to overcome insane challenges, but game development is really hard. Or rather, delivering a complete, viable and profitable product is the really hard part.
