I mean, I don't want to talk on the phone or have a Zoom call with people I actually know!

I just can't imagine asking that of a literal stranger.

Someone I don't know just sent me a connection request on LinkedIn and then, without waiting for me to accept the request, messaged to thank me for connecting and said she'd appreciate the chance to talk to me about my career path and current job for 15 minutes via phone or Zoom call.

I still prefer "copy editor" deep down but have become very accustomed to using "copyeditor" because that's what so many others use now. But I still find myself switching back and forth.

A dark red 1993 Buick Regal. It has a hood ornament, as all fancy cars once did.

I had a '93 Buick Regal (much like the one in this picture) with a hood ornament. I don't think I've owned a car newer than that that had one.

Side note: I just learned (via Wikipedia) that WebP is supposed to be pronounced /ˈwɛpi/. Um, so we're just ignoring the "b" altogether? At least GIF has reasonable arguments for each pronunciation!
