It's such an easy way to keep non-emergencies out of the ER. Babies get acute illnesses after 5 and on weekends & bigger kids get them after the all-ages urgent care closes at 6. (I also think they should have well child clinics open on at least Saturdays, but one thing that makes sense at a time.)
Seriously, I would really like to know why the children's hospital used to have 5-6 after-hours clinics and now only runs two of them in their suburban surgical centers.
