Watching Texan voters being interviewed at the *exact* voting location I used to attend in my old neighborhood talking about the doors being shut on them and being told they couldn’t cast their vote last night is beyond enraging.
The whole situation last night is fucking blatant and absurd.
I was so glad to move out of Texas for many reasons, but I’ll be damned if that wasn’t one of them.
Honestly tho. One of the things Cornyn used to do that annoyed the shit out of me was when I’d contact his office for health or disability advocacy, he wouldn’t just say “no, not doing that.” He’d send a multi page response that was like, “here’s why the basic rights you’re asking for are stupid.”
