Oh yes this is also terrible
Starting from the season index screen though who knows. Or if you go from a season finale to the next season I’ll often end up on the end credits of the season finale of the next season. It seems completely undefined which knowing the dev process of apps of this size it probably is undefined
I also run in to this with the Prime app all the time. I’ve noticed if I use the “next episode” button in the episode controls, not the automatically appearing next episode button it will do the right thing.
Good point. I need more copy editing in my life.
As childless adults we are the most objective experienced arbiters of cuteness.
I have been failing at explaining this to people for awhile now. I now have a video to send them instead!
Would probably be great until you pass by the perfume/lotion kiosk and have an asthma attack. 😅
Love this idea (but yea it would be terrible in reality). For years, I have used a variation of this product idea as a prompt for interviews. i.e. Let’s talk about how we might build “Real Estate Instagram”
I feel like Sudoku is just a numbers game
I realize k8s solves a lot of problems and has won the deploy infra market but it just makes makes me mad because "this shouldn't be this complicated"
Enjoy the live streams. It’s like a weird work from home substitute of the ad hoc conversations / debates I used to get in the office.
FYI getting a turnstile error trying to signup.
I had a comp sci professor that gave one lecture a year in interpretive dance form. I can’t remember the topic but I still remember that he did it and I loved him for it.
Job number one of a presenter is to be more interesting than the portal to all human knowledge in my pocket. Being a little excessive with the hand motions is not a bad way to do it! 😆
Most of what they wrote was both entertaining and a lot actually upped my media literacy in some way.
Every time I go looking for series recaps I think about how good that era of AV Club was. 😥
They do it via this plugin plugins.jetbrains.com/plugin/27310... I’ve been happy with the results.
I don’t use Cursor but I do use Claude Code inside PyCharm for a Django app because it has an integration with JetBrains IDEs that give it access to the jetbrains diagnostics etc which no other ide understands the Django magic better than JetBrains.
Watch this. It good. Make laugh.
It should be like the Pope where you pick a new name on assuming the position.
But seriously, no idea. It’s less than an hour outside of Portland. There has to be something very wrong with it.
There is a tariff on whimsy

The cover of PC Magazine ("The independent guide to personal computing and the Internet") from November 2, 1999. The headline issue, showing boxed software like Wordperfect Office and Microsoft Office in the trash, reads "THROW OUT YOUR SOFTWARE - Save Money! Run your applications over the web instead!" Big callouts mention "Special Report: Which Printer is Right for YOU? PC Labs tests 55 new Lasers, Ink Jets, Multifunctions" with pictures of some old Brother-looking printers; E-Mail Options, "The Internet Provides Multiple Ways To Keep Everyone In Touch"; John C. Dvorak, "Microsoft's Dastardly E-Mail Plot: While Hotmail Really Crashed", and "First Looks: New Desktop Systems, Adobe InDesign 1.0, Giage WebSpace, Consumer Image-Editing Software, Celeron Notebook PCs, Actiontec Call Waiting System" over a picture of a dark late 90s desktop tower.
THROW OUT YOUR SOFTWARE
The latest iteration I've enjoyed more than before.
