We spent a lovely few hours at the NPG’s exhibition on the drawings of Lucien Freud who, if he wasn’t one of our greatest artists would undoubtedly have been a serial killer.

OK so reading this, he thought that the people on stage couldn't hear him from forty rows back, until one of them looked up after the n-word, and he didn't realise the BBC would be broadcasting his slurs.

Looking for folks learning #watercolor to help me test an app I'm working on to help with colour mixing. Drop me a line if you're early in your path to becoming a watercolourist, I'd love to ask you a few questions and if you're up for it, share the beta for the app with you for some feedback.

That’s a lot of air to be pushing, doesn’t it risk overdoing it?
And yeah, I’m sure the only difference between cheap and not cheap wine is aeration…

You could have a word with Stow Brothers, they’ve had some decent folks on their books in the past, alternatively I know a great handyman who’ll happily do the lot for you.

Here’s what that looks like at both the low and high end for English and Welsh constituencies from the last election. There are no Tory constituencies where more than half of the voters have a HE qualification.

It’s funny, but I can’t see any of the tedious cranks who all *knew* last week that Starmer was happy to allow (and in many cases actually help) America invade Greenland admitting they were wrong.
Perhaps they’re having a lie in this morning?

Isn’t that where things are inevitably going to end up?
Given there’s no way back to a Pax Americana it’s a when not an if, so I’d imagine Starmer is waiting for that penny to drop with the nation and then allow himself to be led to the table by public opinion without needing to argue the case.

The Great British Firewall can’t come soon enough. We don’t need to be this porous, we do need some leverage.

I just can’t decide who to stick in there. Maybe I’ll just have them all queing up. Also, I’ll draw whoever you like in there for £20 (as long as they either deserve it or won’t mind).

The 96th Percentile Anomaly: A Parent’s Guide to Deafness
How undiagnosed deafness shaped my life, my trauma, and my career, and how to spot the signs in your child.
This was a fascinating read, heartbreaking but fascinating. Made me ask many questions of my own struggle with sound and finding some places difficult to listen in.
