Have you tested deep research on OpenAI? Results are up to 50 pages long. That’s a very different use case than give me a short summary drawn across many sources.
The sources are deep. The results are not. Still useful, no doubt.
Perplexity deep research is deep on sources but shallow on response. Still very useful!
