I was playing the demo for a bit at QuakeCon and, yes, it's just another Battlefield/CoD but I still enjoyed it. Though I fully admit that could be the result of not having played one of them for about 10 years.

Yep. I don't disagree with the practice at all, I'm just saying this is being adopted here, too. If people are giving you shit about it that's their problem.
Oh for sure. A bunch of restaurants are doing that here too. Near me there's a burger place where their online system requires you to click an "acknowledge" checkbox for each item regarding allergens.
Are you able to ask them when you first take their order if they have any food allergies? Like "any food allergies we need to avoid?"
Met my end with my job just a few short weeks ago, too. With the company nearly 13 years. ๐ข

So relieved to learn I'm not the only one that thinks this. It's been my philosophy for nearly 20 years.
This ain't the century for indecisiveness!
Honestly I remember the Enterprise D going to warp in the theme song (plus the theme itself) more than any particular episode.
There's been a lot of controversy lately with companies using AI to screen CV's, much more so with the career websites and effectively fake job listings. It's absolutely disgusting.
I do this with both of my dogs on a daily basis, usually several times. Too much? Try and stop me. ๐ถ
I canceled a service today to get a bunch of dimes back. Does that still work?
