By embracing the same narrative, Labour are giving legitimacy to Reform’s plans.

They are both wrong and dangerous.

The local elections are in 2 months and Reform UK are begging people to stand.

Recruitment must be going poorly, they’ve probably realised they don’t have enough former Tories to fill their candidate list.

If these people are found to be working for a foreign power, Keir Starmer will be personally responsible. Whereas when a senior Reform colleague is jailed for ten years for taking bribes from Russia, that is nothing to do with me.

There are no proposed legal changes on burning Qurans or Bibles or the Torah, though we should discourage burning any books. It is a public order offence in some contexts, as harassment of worshippers, and not in itself in other contexts, eg outside an Embassy.
