I think I'm legally obligated to mention @stoogoff.com game if Classical adventure cause I wrote some stuff for it. One day I will remember to get tge hardback. Crunchy fantasy with politics and some Greek myth re-envisioning. Indie gem.

Still has the best falling damage table of any RPG
And for some reason I can't get a ticket for this journey on my phone, I have to pick up a ticket from the station. Like it's the dark ages.
Awake to discover my first train of the day has both been cancelled and reinstated while I slept.
TTRPG mail day!! The newest Aegean from @stoogoff.com and Uneasy Lies the Head from @adambell.games
Can't wait to get into them both!!
Their gorgeous matt covers were part of the reason I bought many of their games. I have some of the Vaesen supplements purely because of the quality of the books, even though I'm not a huge fan of the game
It's great to see these showing up in the wild!
Look at those covers sitting together! They are glorious!
The new book The Isle of Pelops, with a typically gorgeous cover by Eleonor Piteira
The whole Aegean line - the core book, Book of Heroes, Book of Empires, The Isle of Pelops, GM screen and the Athenan and Kretan dice sets
Ayyy, a new addition to my favorite Greek mythology TTRPG, Aegean
I love this game; the sense of time and place, the communal city management subgame, trying to make sure that your hubris doesn't overshadow your glory so that the gods can't fuck you up...
The House of Lords Digital & Communications Committee just published their report on AI, copyright & the creative industries, and their conclusions could not be clearer.

a character gen play test doc should be ready in a couple of weeks.
I've been hesitant to continue with this since the release of Robin Hood last year, but I keep getting positive feedback, so... I am working on Wolfshead, an RPG loosely based on Robin of Sherwood and English resistance to the Norman invasion. It's based on the Aegean system and
A statue of a ghoul, mouth open with long snarling teeth, looking straight at the camera. The scene is lit with a red light making the figure much more terrifying!
A skeleton, some eight feet tall, standing in front of a window with arms raised and looming over the photographer. The scene is lit with a red light from the bottom left fading to pink in the top right and blue from the window, giving the skeleton an eerie look with a blue outline on the top of its bones.
Last night I went to Merlin's Cafe Bar in Birmingham to see the amazing @jasonstoryteller.bsky.social perform Slaine: the Horned God. Fantastic horror themed venue and fantastic experience
Pretty difficult to refute a single thing in this perfect assessment of where the f**k we are, from @iandunt.bsky.social:

Yep, Iβm running Aegean at UK Games Expo 2026.
Aegean is one of my fondest convention game memories. Take a look at the sessions in this thread if youβre at UKGE this year!
In Sleep No More GMed by Emma Birch, sleep has been banished from the land and the Heroes must travel to the underworld to uncover why Hypnos has forsaken the mortal realm. www.ukgamesexpo.co.uk/events/3134-...
Curse of the Golden Bull GMed by Nicholas Whitney, features a golden bull which steals away the cattle from the polis every Year. Our Heroes must uncover the source of the curse to save their city from starvation. www.ukgamesexpo.co.uk/events/3066-...
If you're interested in trying Aegean and are going to UKGE there are two adventures being run this year #aegeanrpg
Quite the post day today! Aegean: Isle of Pelops by @stoogoff.com, Royal Blood by @rowanrookanddecard.bsky.social (sent by @shop.peregrinecoast.press) and The Thunder Perfect Mind by @floaker.bsky.social!
Good haul!
I'm highly biased but have you tried Aegean? It's a cross between Greek myth and classical Greek history. Creating, managing, and improving your polis is a big part of the game. It even gets its own character sheet :)
Audible UK listeners! A March treat for you: No Friend to This House is on offer for Β£3.99. I love recording the audiobooks, I hope you enjoy it too ππ

Me, a bald man in a black t-shirt with black rimmed glasses and a yellow-white beard. I'm leaning forward and sitting on the back of my neck is Rik, a slinky black cat.
Me, a bald man in a black t-shirt with black rimmed glasses and a yellow-white beard. The tale of Rik, a black cat, is slapping me in the nose.
I'm just sitting down trying to put my socks on but Rik has other ideas...
And I still love shouty knight at the beginning.
Uther: Have you seen Merlin?
Shouty knight: I HAVEN'T!!!!
I had some birthday money left over so I treated myself to the deluxe re-release of Excalibur so I'm watching that now. Nicol Williamson is still the best Merlin

Not even a tittle?
I haven't played it but that book is gorgeous! I keep meaning to create some characters for it cos the life path stuff seems like a great game on its own
