Sweaty from cleaning the front porch, I finally moved the rock salt, planters, and patio furniture from the garage.

I broke up and spread the marigold seed pods around. I also stirred up the compost pile. Finally, I know how much potting soil I need to order for the planters.

I have an app that alerts me re: Amazon orders. Today, it notified me of a package for bowel-soothing oil. I don’t recall purchasing it. Checking online, I found it’s the peppermint oil I buy for migraines. It seems they have a different understanding of where my head is—or maybe they know me well.

I visited the DMV for a Temporary Permit (I have a Canadian License). The process was quick and easy. I only needed to do an online test, take a quick eye test and have them review my documents. It took less than 30 minutes. Ironically driving there and back took longer due to road construction.

I dislike the anti-social nature of the Fish game. In beta, you joined you couldn’t reach friends and respawn. Now, you get a canoe, and people leave while you are rowing halfway there. The old game was smaller, but it was better for chatting with friends they fished.

I understand and I lived in Asia before, so I’m not an average American. However, it helped me during the COVID-19 TP shortages. My partner still refuses to use it, even after surgery that limits movement. Culture is important, but its a game changer; we all poop, and it’s cleaner.
