Medications can affect your emotions, actually, including creating intense feelings of anger. Just because it's a myth that *a particular* medication causes anger doesn't mean that managing moods under medication *in general* is a matter of willpower and emotional maturity.

@whitequark Yeah.... there's a reason I try to avoid depending on system packages whenever I can. The idea of having one consistent set of versions *for all software installed on a system* is... not sustainable.
Now I just need to poke around and figure out why conan is running VSC++ in C++14 mode instead of using C++17.

This is on an 8 GB RAM VM with a tiny fucking hard drive, too. The only part that failed was building the Python/C++ package...
HOLY SHIT. It worked! One of the Python/Rust pyreading packages compiled, from a plain `pdm sync`, on a Windows VM that had never seen Rust before. The only part that PEP 517/8 didn't manage automatically was installing VS Build Tools, which *fair*. Very, very fair.
