There is a Mac app called Audio Hijack Pro from the delightfully named Flying Meat Software that allows you post process audio. It’s kind of a virtual patch panel. In my case I route Safari’s audio output into the timeshift tool then route that to the speaker. Not a quick solution, but it works.

It’s going to be a little different for everyone, but I’ve got good sync with the audio delayed 42 seconds.

Your device is measuring your effective bandwidth as being very close to the breakpoint between two encoding bandwidths. It’s ping-ponging between the higher and lower bandwidth frames as motion increases and decreases. Might resolve itself. Hope it does (we’re not getting it).

And some regular lengths are actually fine. Depends on the manufacturer. Will be interested in hearing feedback when they start getting out in the world.
