Je suis en ce moment dans la même "galère". Mon enfant a des besoins particuliers, mais je suis plutôt chanceux car dans ma région il y a plusieurs écoles avec des programmes spécialisés. Et il y a toujours l'option du privé.

Quelle décision? Le choix de l'école secondaire? Ça dépend, pour la plupart des enfants, il n'y a pas de décision, il doit aller a l'école de quartier.

Mais si l'enfant a des besoins ou des aptitudes particulières, les parents peuvent décider d'une autre école.

Le système d'éducation au Québec n'envoie pas les enfants de 12 ans dans le monde du travail. Il y a seulement des milieux scolaires différents.

- Primaires 5-11ans
- Secondaire 12-17ans

Un enfant ne peut pas avant 14 ans et seulement avec des conditions spéciales aller sur le marché du travail.
