It probably took a couple days, maybe like 5h total? I still want to take another round and fine detail it better and maybe add a couple bit buildings

This is what I did with Woodland Park for now. The idea is that the neighborhood is on the worst side of town, right by and abandoned mining industry. It's even worst because a couple feet, just crossing the bridge, the trailer park people can see suburbs and sims with much better houses than them.

This is the 1.0 version of Main Street in my Pleasantview save, where I placed the Dreamers and the condo with the Calientes and the Lotharios. I need to finesse the park but I'm really happy with the suburb feel, full with samey houses.

Like I swear to god, I'm gonna have death bed delirium about the beta version of the Create a World mod. I live and breath for the day we'll be able to at least import an edited world into our saves.

Like, I changed the EP12 world files to make the originally 20x15 Harjo household lot into a 40x30 because I thought it was the perfect spot for the Pleasant house. But that means changing the lot in every save and I don't want that, it makes too complicated to swap between saves 🫠

I want certain lots but it doesn't work with where I want the lots to be, does it make any sense? UGH I wanted an easy way of changing lots sizes so much. I fiddled with the game files and changed it but that never ends well and it's bound to break eventually.

I think I'm gonna have to go back to the drawing board with the save, though. I was having a lot of fun remaking the sims from TS2 and TOOLing the blowtorched Newcrest into a Pleasantview part but I hit a wall with filling up all the lots with stuff that makes sense 🫠

I reopened my Pleasantview save and went to check it with the new family trees and it's so satisfying to see!

PSA: : EA broke romance autonomy. If you’ve noticed your Sims are no longer autonomously using non-modded romantic interactions, here’s why. EA added new autonomy tests that require Sims to be related in order to romance autonomously. Yes. Related. 😭 If you own Royalty & Legacy, it’s even worse. There’s a second autonomy test that requires Sims to be secret lovers, so romance autonomy is basically double cursed. I’ve created an all-in-one fix for these issues and the ones that still haven't been fixed for Adventure Awaits. The fix is included in my Deeper Social Autonomy mod, but if you don’t use it, you can grab the standalone fix here. Please spread the word about this fix so everyone can get their romance autonomy back!
