Ahh…gone now, new hotel is open. I hate those murder strips with a passion, requested their removal - they kill 10%more people than not having them and do not encourage uptake. If they weren’t there some people could ride on the quiet pavements and some could actually position themselves better.

So sad to have to restart this blog already. In 2025 6 people were killed on the roads of Torbay, all of them vulnerable road users (travelling on foot, by cycle or motorcycle). We believe that a safe systems approach could eliminate road deaths and reduce injuries.
