Last year was Crystal’s 30th anniversary and this year marks 30 years I’ve been drawing the Jewel Carriers team, so I wanted to redraw the very first group picture I did of everyone using the same medium. I haven’t used pencils in a while, but this was fun.

I don't think either Shadic or Soko would particularly mind. But you're likely to only get a smile outta one of them.

If it weren't for Soko's care, she certainly would have been left to die. And even if GUN wouldn't have abandoned her, there's a strong likelihood that she would have just given up by that point anyway. :c

The second case was less dire and occurred as an adult. It started after being in a Super Form and having to be forcibly pulled out of it. She was in bad physical health from the stress of it, and worse mental health while recovering from the artificial rage GUN had engineered for her.

Shadic has had two close calls. The first when she was an infant, too small and unstable to support all the Chaos energy she was born with. She made it a little less than a year before getting too sick and being put back into cryosleep.

so far I'm pretty pleased! but I think I'd like to go back and take another swing at the Cerberus ( I was really focused on trying to make the dog bit look right and not so much how it looked overall) I can do better.
