Yeah. I bet.
Hopefully more coming, bc it wouldβve been better to say nothing at all than to only say this.
Sean Tucker being tendered makes me a sad panda.
[Hensley] Ravens GM Eric DeCosta is scheduled to speak to reporters at 5 p.m. to discuss what has been a wild start to free agency for Baltimore twitter.com/jamisonhensl...
Itβs been made clear by multiple people around the NFL at all levels that Baltimore had all the information and understood where Maxx Crosbyβs knee was in terms of his recovery timeline.
Many in the league believe GM Eric DeCosta and the Ravens ultimately just got cold feet.
They still got outbid for their franchise center.
[Breer] The Raiders will honor all the agreements they made with free agentsβboth their own and the incoming guysβover the last 48 hours, despite the stunning developments of last night.
All options remain in play with Maxx Crosby. Vegas is certainly very open to keeping him. x.com/albertbreer/...
ElAttrache is one of, if not the most world renowned orthopedic surgeon in the world.
Anyone who thinks he would have misled Baltimore or not given them the full picture is insane.
This was dirty.
Ravens are so dirty for this.
[Wolfe] One NFL GM told me everybody involved in Maxx Crosby talks knew he would be out until June/July coming off meniscus surgery.
Consensus opinion Iβve got from NFL decision makers: Ravens got cold feet & it could impact how other teams work w/ BAL going forward. twitter.com/CameronWolfe...
[Schefter] Raiders already have received calls from βseveralβ teams inquiring about the availability of Maxx Crosby in a trade, per source. For now the Raiders are prepared to get Crosby healthy and have him play for Las Vegas. But they are listening to other teams. twitter.com/AdamSchefter...
Why is everyone acting like the Raiders will now have to bow out of all the deals theyβve agreed to to this point?
The same thing that was going to happen to it an hour ago.
Just curious: Does the football community think Maxx Crosbyβs contract spanned the entirety of LVRβs cap space?
His contract represented $30 mil of the whole thing.
They had the most space BEFORE they traded him. Even if Crosby is back, thereβs no reason these deals would be null.
Dear Mock Drafters who are still mocking Jeremiyah Love to the Chiefs after they signed Walker:
What is you doin'?
I guess it's shtick, and maybe I'm just the only one not into it, but does NFL Network's Mike Garafalo really need to be a constant dick to everyone else on the broadcast? Just is a little much.
For real. The amount of people I saw absolutely lose their morality over Peirce's deal was unreal
Beat ya to it
Same
Does anybody have a good list to follow on here for NFL free agency? I have some good football lists, but I want one thatβs going to be almost nothing but NFL news for tomorrow.
Yes. Iβm a Raiders fan. Please donβt block me. Lol
Respectfully disagree. Not bc we donβt sorely need OL help, but bc weβll have a ton of cap space, and it will be much easier to get a difference maker at OL in in the FA market this year, and, conversely, much easier to get a difference maker at WR at 1.14.
Your lips to Godβs ears, brother. ππ»
Thatβs true too
For real! Itβs like they put almost zero thought into fit at all. Iβm not even convinced that a lot of these articles arenβt just AI slop.
It's wild that that is where they think they need to make major upgrades. If they do make a move like that, hopefully it means moving someone out, bc that cupboard was already full.
How does that make any sense?
Just saw an ESPN NFL free agency article that predicted Alec Pierce would sign with the Chargers, and now I'm just going to be angry the rest of the day.
At least try a little bit, you guys.
