I do hope you have some other hobbies aside from handing peoples' arses to them on silver platters.
But absolutely don't give up this one, it is kinda hilarious.

Wind turbines kill birds, yes but...
Discussion with an apparent AI chatbot named "your ai slop bores me". Prompt: Please suggest something nice and kinda-unique I can write in the Mothers Day card I'm doing. My mum has a sense of humour. "AI" responded: Contratulations you birthed me
I have a new favourite internet thing:

You can either ask, or you can LARP as AI to earn more credits.
LNER is the London North-Eastern Railway. It's the main UK East-coast service between London and Edinburgh and stops in between (York, Newcastle, etc.).
It's a nice train journey with some great scenery, but the data connectivity is... Occasional.
Fuck's sake. I watched this evening's @channel4news.bsky.social over dinner which left me with a tiny hope of of "well, at least we're not enabling this".
Now that's gone too.
It is quite astonishing that Kier can stand upright without a spine.
This post has such strong "I think 'teehee :3' and then I click post" energy.
I absolutely love it.
And yes, I'm already a member π
You want cash? I'm more familiar with gargoyles being paid in pigeons.
HAH! I'd missed that detail in my over-hasty read through.
Just listen to what Andrewβs nickname was amongst royal protection officers.
I went in 2019 - it is a SERIOUSLY cool thing to visit. I don't think I'd lick the walls, but the experience is very interesting and quite unique.
English-language group tours run regularly. It really is well worth doing if you're visiting the Krakow area.
The song that plays in my head to go along with this is "Six Guys, Ten Teeth" by @paulandstorm.bsky.social
(It was released a good long while before the demi-recent situations, it just fits the meme.)

I am genuinely surprised there's no "maritime law" in there.
Also no ": WEIRD : of the family Surname" split-personhood name nonsense.
Why couldn't his drivel at least fill in more of my OPCA bingo card?
New post: LABOUR'S SECTION 28 IS HERE - ACT NOW.
I explain how the Labour government's proposed revisions to the guidance on "keeping children in education" are designed to erase trans children in England. But it's not a done deal - there is plenty we can do to oppose this.
I changed the audio
Yeah you'd have to be very conscious of "remove" vs "smearing" - which I'm guessing would be difficult given the miserable suffering.
"Bring luke-warm water in an insulated container for pouring, plus paper towels for dry-off" sounds like the plan?
You can get little "tablet" compressed-fibre towel thingies on amazon which soak up water and expand in to a disposable wipe. Hold one in palm of hand, pour water on.
"compressed towel tablets" is an adequate amazon search term.
IDK if they're better than "wait it out". Worst case, cheap placebo.
Here, have an alternative link. The article is pretty much as terrible as others have mentioned.

Ha! Scotland's wonderful NATIONAL has just run this story.
What the hell?
Labour Together put private investigators onto journalists writing about its funding. Starmer's right-hand man knew.

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. Itβs dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

I wrote War Plan UK over 40 years ago about the British governments dishonesty to the public about the consequences of nuclear weapons and nuclear warfare. Interest in the Cold War period has grown through this century, amplified by the brutal lawlessness of Putin and Trump.
Help us make hope normal again.
Join the Green Party now.
My favourite aspect of Machadaynu is that it was supposedly written by the school kids in his class.
The (fictional) school kids composed absolute nonsense, in order to make their teacher look like an idiot on TV.
Little Fluffy Clown!
My husband @duncanc.bsky.social wrote "War Plan UK", back in 1982, about UK Cold War stuff.
Today, it went on sale as an ebook. Not just on Amazon, it's available on loads of other ebook platforms too.
The only "media" he has "done" for this is a Youtube video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=6T83...
A small piece of white plastic hangs from a zip pull on a black jacket. The word "hope" is written vertically in purple with a green border.
I figured out what I needed to make to replace the zip pull on my hoodie.
It's a tiny piece of hope, something I can hold on to.
When I lift up my hope it brings me comfort, even if that is just to zip up my jacket.
Not all Visa/MC cards are Credit Cards though. In the UK, regular bank debit cards use those systems.
Across the EU, as I recall, there's an assortment of per-country bank/debit card schemes but not a common unified one.
Still loads ok for me. Archive Today can be a bit temperamental though.
