I just optimised the heck out of my company's Maestro E2E tests with EAS workflows. I used a mix of repacking & a few other undocumented optimisations to Android Emulators. Here's what I've done. #expo #reactnative

i want youtube and podcast apps to support audio processing plugins so i can filter out the unbearable but trendy smart person vocal crutch of repeating βyou knowβ (often abbreviated to something like βyeowβ). i really would like to watch dario interviews but i cannot. note: i am mildly misophonic
Huge thanks to @expo.dev for featuring our journey with DEPOT on their blog! Big thank you as well to @baumstumpf.bsky.social for the editorial support π
The path to success was built one step at a time - and those incremental improvements compounded to really pay off. π

llms now seem to be good enough to build side projects that i never would have otherwise bothered to build. this is cool
seriously how did this thing ship. it fails on half of my prompts and now won't even open at all
claude is good / claude desktop is terrible
ice cream is underrated
Google Meet show how late people will be based on meeting history
if youβre in montreal just drop in to their physical location! looks like itβs in stock both online and in store. i, a random stranger on the internet that is also from canada, have bought many things from moogaudio and they are great :)
one thing to notice re: price difference with other mixers - i had original l6 for a year and resold it on marketplace, it was very easy to sell for $315 cad. they hold their value pretty well, less expensive mixers may not
i see in your profile youβre in quebec, maybe check out moogaudio. iβm not in any way affiliated although iβm aware this reads as an elaborate ad i assure you it isnβt, lol. it looks like you can get it with 10% discount on their boxing week sale
hereβs the l6 max in my desk. this has mic, my guitar, pedalboard (stereo), and three stereo synths connected. still room for one more haha. also, connected to computer via usb so i can use it as an interface. master out goes to monitors, monitor out to headphones, sub out to a sampler
actually normal l6 (sans max) would also be plenty for your use case
zoom l6 max should do the trick with a smaller footprint
how did you learn?
(i may not recall correctly)
iirc the newest one does
4 million users worldwide
4.9 stars with 111,000 ratings on iOS
4.8 stars with 63,000 ratings on Android
This is the kind of app you want to learn from. Check out the new guest post from the Lingvano team about their award winning app: expo.dev/blog/scaling...
one neat thing to try out is printing a lamp! they can look quite nice. you will be able to do some really cool stuff by combining your woodworking skills with a printer
which one did you go for? i got a bambu p1s this summer and really liked it, ended up upgrading to p2s with ams. lots of useful things you can do with it, but i need to dive more into actually creating the models. so far iβve just directly printed or slightly sliced up others as needed

i use βgood nightβ as a command for setting lights to reading levels. every few times i say this, it responds in a very sinister tone

hey there! thanks for bringing this up. i wasnβt familiar with this personally (maybe itβs not common in canada) but looked it up and see what you mean. would βgo mobile nativeβ be better? we donβt like the word βnativeβ because itβs imprecise, but itβs widely used and understood in software context
if you do really want to do this i can forward this to someone on the quest team!
the only other metroid game i played was prime so maybe my opinion isnβt reflective of what a true metroid fan would think, but dread was one of the few games iβve really enjoyed and played to the end in recent years
