All I’ll say is there’s a lot of people spouting takes on the situation that have not seen themselves or know people who have experienced that type of regime in Latin America firsthand, and there’s also tons of ppl who naively think this was some benevolent act by the US

That pretty much rounds out the year! Heres a close up of an Anhinga, and a sunset photo of a very rare Harlequin Duck that showed up in my area! I hope to get out more next year and spot even more cool things!
My next adventure was down to the Space Coast in search of Flamingos. I spotted a Turkey family, a Bobwhite in a tree, a Cattle Egret with a sick hairdo, and finally, sooo far away, the Flamingos!

While I was there I knew I wanted to slide over to Arkansas to photograph my favorite bird, the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher. A 3 hour car ride later and I found a nesting pair. Absolutely stunning birds
