Yeah, it looks really unique, but the design angle is not something for me
I would like to remind people that when Nintendo made a brand new web based Star Fox 2 manual for the SNES Mini, it also included actual old design document scans for the game and I think it's pretty rad:

Really awesome, such cool devices. Thanks!
Thanks! That looks interesting! I think @xordev.com is around here as well btw βΊοΈ
I loved playing that game, but nobody else knew about it :)
Couple of months ago I picked the Cinnamon version to try on an old Thinkpad. It works great, and I did not have to install any drivers.
Stacking's 15 anniversary sharing continues! Today I'm sharing the Game Design Document I wrote for that game, all those years ago, which was part of our pre-production deliverables. You can download the PDF here: www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/8jk0e...
Roll out! That's awesome! I really like the vibe and details. Also really interesting to see the progress pics you posted as well.

Interesting, thanks! I'd never heard of it. Will try to look into it, although it seems a bit on the heavy side... That image made me think of the cover of Moon.
Hope you can figure something out!
Lovely! Didn't you make that game with that star you had to keep on a platform? Reminds me of that βΊοΈ
Ah, awesome! Really cool you found these documents and files, thanks! βΊοΈ
That's mesmerizing! Really cool :)
@chibigstudio.bsky.social that looks interesting! A bit like Zelda, but still different. Good luck with the kickstarter!
In the Risk Assessment docs where Monolith goes over risks and offers solutions, they discuss steps to distinguish themselves from Arkham Asylum and its in-development sequel. They held monthly calls with Arkham people to avoid collisions, even pivoting away from maps planned for Apollo.
Super nice! Thanks for your work and sharing. This is mighty interesting!
Ha, congrats and well deservedπ Hope you'll have a great time!
My Discord account was compromised over the New Year - if you've ever heard of the good old "just try my game" attack, well, I fell for it.

If anyone is interested in learning basic programming or python, I HIGHLY recommend this. Granted, I didnβt take the course, but I followed the book on my own and it is an OUTSTANDING way to learn some python skills to do what the title says: Automate the Boring Stuff! πππΌ
New year, time for the quarterly update of my #gamedev resource at www.startmakinggames.com
This is a completely FREE resource, aimed at folks wanting to make games for the very first time. So if you know folks whose New Year resolution was 'I want to start making games' this is the link for them!
Would be nice if you could revert time with your controller π
Hay 3d artists Thomas is very much someone you should give a follow to β¬οΈβ¬οΈ
Really cool! I did the same with one of our kids, and it was especially nice for him that he could show it to his friends. His ideas went everywhere, for example you could shoot with boterhammen, and he learned a lot from it.
