I'm seeing a little extra pushback against Ash Wednesday this year from certain evangelical corners. "Ashes are pagan!" "Ash Wednesday violates the Regulative Principle!" etc.

God help me, my inner reaction was: "It makes sense. American evangelicalism is allergic to humility and repentance."

I initially assumed you meant dual, but duel also kind of works.

I'm mostly cheering for the World team to win because it's got a Canadian (plus another injured), a couple former Raptors, a current Raptors coach, and some of the most fun players in the league.

But I'm also a little bit cheering for the US to lose, because obvious reasons in 2026.

I definitely feel like Outlook's junk filtering has gotten a lot more aggressive in recent years. A good portion of things not from somebody in my address book ends up in junk. Even bulk mailings I signed up for end up in there if in the past I've deleted those messages too quickly.
