Check out the Empty Spaces section on my website, it has some pre-pass, decal info. But basically it's an extended depth normal pass, that also draws "segment" areas. Then edge detection produces these lines. Rollerdrome also does something like this...

thanks, the pixelization is done by the cam just being low-res but everything else - including shaders - is built around it. the palette is actually @adamcyounis.bsky.social Apollo palette. You can find it on lospec.

Figure out snapping camera to pixels in world space. Really look at hand-drawn pixel art and the way artists shade things and draw lines. Express that with shaders and also picking good colors. (This actually uses @adamcyounis.bsky.social's Apollo palette.)
