At a time when new ballot initiatives threaten our youth's access to healthcare and sports, we're reminded that there is no place for hate in Colorado.
One attacked gender-affirming care access through discriminatory legal burdens, and the other attempted to ban trans kids from participating in school sports in alignment with their gender identity.
RMEQ was at the Capitol yesterday with community members testifying against two bills targeting trans rights that FAILED.
Dress celestial, cosmic, or any way that makes you feel most out-of-this-world! π½πͺ We're hosting a space-themed silent disco. This event is free, a sober space, and open to all 18+. RSVP: bit.ly/4b9KHQl

RMEQ joined an amicus brief opposing this overreach, and we urge the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to rule that overly broad religious exemptions shouldn't be used to undermine nationwide access to birth control.
The Affordable Care Act (ACA) guarantees contraceptive coverage, but this proposed federal rule would let employers and universities opt out, stripping employees and students of that right. www.au.org/the-latest/press/birth-control-amicus-trump-pennsylvania/
Join us for a NEW group! This is a casual and welcoming space to hang out with other trans folks while enjoying free coffee.

Mardi Moore will remain as CEO, with a focus on long-term strategy and advocacy. Same team. Stronger foundation. This isn't just a title change. It's how we make sure RMEQ is here to continue the fight for equality, for the long haul.
Four years ago, Bruce Parker, Ph.D., our current COO, joined Out Boulder County and helped build something remarkable. Now, Bruce is stepping into the role of Executive Director of the organization Out Boulder County grew into, RMEQ. He will lead our programs, staff, and day-to-day work.
Trans youth deserve the healthcare they need. We will keep fighting.
