I lectured my next class about the importance of reflecting on the assignment ("The Perils of Indifference"... the irony), what they can gain from it, the privilege they have. Told them not to, that I'd be *checking,* & I STILL had a kid copying and pasting. Didn't change it till they got caught. 🙃
