Holy crap, I didn't realize how much I needed the Scrubs revival at this point in time.

Finally PROPERLY moving over here. Done with the X trash.
Hoping this is much better.
Just months after a data breach where hackers got access to some of their stored government-issued IDs, this seems like a brilliant idea by Discord.
Putting a good chunk of recent technical knowledge exclusively on their platform has always been a mistake.

I was going to take my blood pressure, but "Guest Starring Louise Fletcher as Kai Winn" just appeared on my TV screen.
Text on a purple background reads: "Nominations are open for the 2026 Order of New Brunswick. Nominate someone who has made a positive impact in your community." The Government of New Brunswick logo is in the bottom right corner.

Nominations are now open for the Order of New Brunswick and, I don't want to heavily influence anyone's vote, but I did just have a really good round of Fast Money in Family Feud for the Commodore 64.
Man, I am digging the hell of our Star Trek: Starfleet Academy.
It turns out the secret to good Trek is optimism-driven, classic A-story and B-story character-driven episodes without the focus of the entire season being on one single universe-threatening plot line that barely pays off.
Classic.
New Brunswick Premier Susan Holt's Liberal government will no longer use X for "routine" government communications:
I didn't realize just how much I needed the Muppet Show right now.
CBC Gem is truly outrageous. Truly, truly, truly outrageous.
Well, I can't say that I saw this coming:
MST3K is coming back again in 2026 for four new episodes with Mike Nelson, Kevin Murphy (Servo, Bobo), Bill Corbett (Crow, Brain Guy, and Mary Jo Pehl (Pearl).

I believe tonight was the 20th State of the Province television broadcast that I've produced.
Let me tell you, lugging the gear in and out does not get any easier with age, now how much smaller and lighter it seems to get.
π CHSR turns 65 today! π
Weβre proud to be the third-oldest campus radio station in Canada and one of the founding members of the NCRA. Sixty-five years on air is no small featβespecially in a time when local journalism is disappearing and funding for community media keeps shrinking nationwide.
If everything is breaking news, then nothing is breaking news.
Why does every modern Star Trek ship have to have eye-level pot lights? Ignoring the ceiling-mounted flame throwers, this has to be the most incomprehensible design choice.
Radial Entertainment, the merged entity of Shout! Studios and FilmRise, has purchased Mystery Science Theatre 3000.
MST3K is one of my most reliable comfort shows, ever since I stumbled onto it with the big C-band satellite dish in the very early 90s.

Getting vehicle maintenance done is the only time I watch any daytime television.
A host just tasted a bit of chicken and rice and the audience gasped and βohhhβ-ed like she just revealed the cure to cancer.
I think Iβm too cynical to properly handle modern day media.
A wide angle photo taken in a snow covered clear cut looking toward a group of distant pine trees. Behind the trees, the horizon glows green as the aurora borealis is seen below in a gap in the clouds.

If you listen closely, you can hear the sound of thousands of midwestern comedians dusting off their Jesse Ventura impressions.
I've been enjoying (ironically, I assure you) the amount of security camera footage of vehicles at robbery scenes that might have identified someone if only the front plate had still been installed.
I'm new to this apnea stuff and amazed: The mark-up on prices for CPAP machines and accessories at clinics is, how can I put this... Brazen?
I've dropped and shattered three monocles in disbelief so far.
I can't tell if the current temperament is more "Wag the Dog" or "Canadian Bacon".
Kudos to chaos (with support from others) for pulling it off: NHL 94 for the Sega Genesis now has fighting restored in a new modded rom available here: forum.nhl94.com/index.php?/t...
The original game had fighting removed at the request of the NHL. I've waited three decades for this!
I bought my 2019 Mazda 3 *specifically* because it has nothing but physical controls and its screen is not a touch screen.
I haven't loaded my Animal Crossing town in years. I'm afraid that if I do so now, I will discovery nothing but barrel fires and cannibalism.
You know what I miss about the NHL? Massive two team trades in the 80s and 90s where teams were just like "hey, do you want to swap 1/4 of the top of your roster with us for some reason?".
The Doug Gilmour (CGY->TOR) and Eric Lindros (QUE->PHI) trades are particularly fun to read.
"Idiocracy" was a documentary and should be reclassified as such.
