Are ya'll ready for a version of US capitalism in which products are stamped with nonAI sort of like the nonGMO fad? Or do we think dumbo will end us all before then?

Grade A material right there.
I typically see these same faces mid morning on the third day of Kubecon.
Free business idea. Pizza Bialys. Pizza bagels are too doughy, but bialy dough is basically pizza dough already. Itβs a round slice for people who donβt want crust. Crust-haters might be an underserved market. Someone should feed these weirdos.
If your product pitch is "Here's two things wrong with Kubernetes that we fix with our platform that isn't Kubernetes" and you don't address ALL the things your platform DOESN'T do that k8s does or at least call out the niche where your platform should be used in place of k8s... please do better.
I ran into the tech teacher while picking up the kids at school (k-8th grade) and offered to donate a pile of mini servers I have laying around. She was like βno thanksβ. To which I replied βyou donβt want to teach any Linuxβ and her response killed me.
βI want them to be happyβ π€£
In their defense, the quali rain removed the opportunity to gather data that would have indicated that they needed to raised the floor.
Decades later my degree in Geophysics is paying off with a simple dinner time question βQuiz me on my science test tomorrow Daddyβ.
I did not play it cool when we got to the basics of sedimentary vs igneous vs metamorphic rocks. Bowenβs reaction series graphs were drawn. Eyes were rolled.

Gotcha. I think the dB drop from SONG and click in should be large enough to allow you us the "silence_threshold" to set the dB higher than the click and lower than song volume.
Yea, we don't count in every song AND I wanted to avoid using AI to keep it simple. As is dB thresholds work really well for my use case.
Silly project I put together this morning to help me take one massive band practice video and break it down into a video per song.

What do you call the type of person who can go a year without booze as long as they donβt go out where other friends have a drink?
Came here to say this.

Treys rig with a new addition
In my happy place waiting for things to kick off. Looks like Trey is testing, or trolling us nerds, a new dumble.
Live at 5, pyromaniac gets burned to death while trying to set fire to a gas station.
I lost a bet to my cousins in 2004 and had to a drive up to Boston and walk around in my Bernie Jersey the day after those who shall not be mentioned took us out in the ALCS. It was the friendliest a Sox fan has ever been to me TBH.
I dunno, Yanks weaknesses (defense, base running, bullpen, over reliance on HRs) are not playoff friendly.
This year my hopes are to out last the Sox so I don't have to hear about it from by Masshole drummer. (I deserve it for the all the shit talking I did after the Knicks bounced the Celtics).
Watching the game? You were calling this out a few weeks ago

What a weirdo
Watched this interesting talk on how Facebook is converting Slurm to run on k8s and chuckled a bit when they said "we wrote a wrapper cli around helm in rust to we could abstract helm from the researchers"
This is a hilarious application of Rust and I am here for it.

Right! I love Boone as a player and a hilarious human, but we need someone who can inspire the team to do all the small things. We really havenβt had that in a coach since Buck Showalter. Jeter/Posada filled that role during the Torre years.
Itβs really not our year. Lost in the Grapefruit League when Boone decided to be lax on base running and defense.
2 runs with Rodon on the mound is something.
The author of that Reddit post almost had it right. But I have to say you donβt start with a technical design, you start with defining a problem and weighing if itβs worth solving.
I can tell you the my Mrs., who is very outwardly βnormalβ, seems to always be juggling 3 or 4 tasks all at once and cruises through the day. One task finishes and she just some other thing just jumps right into her list. It never ends but she keeps the train moving.
Karen, if you're not in a meeting you're not working. We all know this. /s
Maybe AWS should pay employees to contribute to it.
