The three books in the series are Han Solo at Stars' End (1979), Han Solo's Revenge (1979), and Han Solo and the Lost Legacy (1980). An omnibus edition titled The Han Solo Adventures was later published in 1992 and was soon followed by Han Solo and the Corporate Sector Sourcebook (a roleplaying game guide in the form of an in-universe history text about the events of the trilogy), and four non-canon Hungarian spinoff novels.

Not to be confused with , a separate series written some years later by A. C. Crispin, although Crispin referenced these stories in hers (setting them during a in the middle of Rebel Dawn, the third book of her trilogy).

Need to know more about the four Hungarian Han Solo novels I just learned existed.

My counterpoint is that you simply cannot, as an artist, stand beholden to the dumbest members of your audience. Idiots are gonna miss the point, every time.

I once cried in a pub when it was on the TV with the sound off. It's a perfect film.

I know the end result is the same, but I'd rather perish in nuclear fire because of dick-measuring brinksmanship than because a bunch of freaks thinks it'll make Jesus come back.

Just a banger of a series. Smart and compassionate and action packed. Never been collected, not available digitally last time I checked. But you can get the entire run pretty cheap second hand.

A few years back I went long on Larry Hama's superb and underappreciated Nth Man comic. With GI Joe now back in the convo for largely awful reasons, I thought I'd dig it out again.

Is it weird that two Australian directors have made ostensibly American films called War Machine for Netflix?

Oh, seals *love* looking at their reflections in divers' masks. I was under a jetty looking for some cuttlefish I'd spotted earlier when suddenly this huge animal shot past my shoulder, spun around a pilon and was suddenly up in my face like "Hi!" I'm sure my scream was audible on the surface.
