TODAY there's a group of right-wing dipshits that are going to be meeting downtown at The Grove near Front and Capitol to try to disrupt a Tim Walz speaking event at Boise Center at 4:30 this afternoon.

That's a great point. There can be asymmetrical power dynamics between individuals with huge disparities, different levels in workplaces for ex, but hazing is a ritual built into explicitly creating and exploiting the biggest disparity they can manufacture in the most dehumanizing ways possible.
Absolutely disgusting abdication of responsibility and duty to prevent future violence on the part of the free press. Almost seems intentional, which is a real glimpse into America generally in this moment.
The bravely standing up guy meme in article format to declare that we need more dehumanization is just a world class awful take. It absolutely opens the door to sexual violence, gender violence, and racialized violence. It must be nice to feel as safe as the author, completely ignorant of harm.

Strong suspicion being raised that all testimony given by cooperators is under duress citing horrific jail conditions
On the House floor now is HB 659. This is the bill telling local law enforcement to enter into a 287(g) jail agreement with ICE.
Local law enforcement testified against this in the house committee hearing. They did not want to act as immigration agents on top of their normal duties.
