It's a far cry from Revelations before going into the positively bloodthirsty apocalypse worship of RW US Christians. That stuff is what enables atrocities.
As someone who comes from a spiritual tradition that's well known for a big end of days throwdown, I am consistently disturbed by the choice of many US Christians to actively cheer for Armageddon and think it reeks of death cultism.
