Does anyone have a solution to support a heavy 1RU network device that should be installed in a 4 post rack but all you have is a 2 post rack? I can’t use the rails it comes with but just using the ears is really suspect.

I think that’s going to be the problem with the terminology - everyone will see it differently because there’s so many aspects of networking. Route/switch, cloud, automation, data center, WAN, etc
