Leaning a bit to the right as it grows out of slightly mossy and sloped soil, a beautiful tall mushroom, Amanita muscaria, perfectly captures the soft mid-morning light. Its stipe, which is about four inches long before it reaches the cap, is white and has a slightly rough texture. The cap, which is about two and a half inches tall, is almost spherical in shape, bright red, and covered in tightly packed white patches that have a cracked texture.

Another perfect Amanita muscaria shining in the morning sunlight. The white patches on this one are so nice 👌🏼
