Ah. But yes, it should've been King James' version - or is King James's version now de rigeur?
The BBC WAC Campaign's full submission to the Government's Charter Review is now online. We argue that policy changes at the Written Archives Centre fly in the face of the values at the heart of the Green Paper: trust, transparency, and the telling of stories. Read here: tinyurl.com/CharterSubmi...
Jeez! One typo and I'm damned! Anyway, no. Birdseye & Pugwash are benign fun, Queeg ultimately sees his failings.
Someone else got in before David.
Ahab, obviously. But without the ability to utter his obsessions as if rewriting the King James Bible.

Got stuck in. Probably the play's most perfect incarnation, in the place where it happens. The ultimate radio play? Gotta love #radio #drama bsky.app/profile/anot...
I wish I'd seen it! What a fulsome review!
Having just listened to the radio City Sugar and remembering my disappointment with Talk Radio at the time because it wasn't as good as the former... Probably.
It was!
Play was 75, West End w/Adam Faith in 76; TV 78 & the radio play (R3 but for the World Service) 79.
I'm up to Peters & Lee followed by Street Fighting Man!
Thank you. He ought to be available on the National Health.
Lynne Miller played Nicola at the Bush and on tour.
And before both was the original 1975 Bush production of City Sugar with the estimable John Shrapnel (not Johnny Walker as the photo implies); and here (radio adaptation 1979) *Julie Covington* as Nicola!! About to get stuck in. NB the Radio 3 intro is a hoot. archive.org/details/city...
