Yeah, so that's almost certainly just a quirk of Task Manager even if OBS is also freezing - GPU reporting in it is specifically pretty weird. GPU-Z can give you a better report here, and getting the game up to max load and letting it run for a few will show better results. www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/

One unfortunate thing looking at the forums and some posts for this game is also just that it is veeeery GPU intensive, too. People with 4070s are hitting 100% usage. Is this *only* happening with OBS on? Or if you turn it off, does the game immediately climb to fill that usage?

lmaoooo, clicked into this to see how bad the ass-beating was, and the "929 quotes" quickly loaded and then disappeared fast enough to give me a laugh, sometimes even in 2026 you gotta laugh at an absolutely legendary ratio

(Also out of sheer curiosity, I assume it's some software-based pipeline and you're running this off a gaming laptop, but what's your 3rd GPU pipeline there? If you're not sure you can check Task Manager - Performance and it should straight up say it)

Couple things to try even not knowing your particular setup:
- Make sure you at least have FPS limited in-game, even if it's just to your refresh rate, uncapped can make GPUs report weird
- Try various different on/off states of HAGS and flip presentation model
- run OBS as admin, oddly enough

So, lot of things it could be, and also GPU usage readouts in Task Manager can be a little weirder than the rest because sometimes it can go off of relative clock, not absolute, but first things first: are you actually noticing performance degradation? And also, in-game, are you limiting FPS?

I’m eternally grateful for that help… I can finally get that main loan paid off that has been stewing since October.

There is technically a bit more in the goal I believe, but I will focus on amplifying others’ MA a bit now that I can finally take a breath, and trying my best to get my comms up.
