Obviously, the difficulty trying to promote an episode like this is trying not to spoil the plot elements. But yes, the truck (which was almost its own character) is dead.

This is the BIG episode. Nobody watched it. There were several episodes I thought would connect with an audience and none of them did, but this one especially. It's the big mid-story turn when everything changes and propels the series towards it's conclusion.

The is the actual location of the arena in the episode.
This is the actual intersection of the car crash at the end of the teaser, the location of an accident when I was a teenager. On our way home from a party that evening, we passed the wrecked car smushed into the tree, steaming in teh dark with its headlights still on.
In episode 14 of #MuscleBodies, Earl and Mac go in search of gas and end up facing a new horror and a terrifying chase.

New ideas need old buildings. In todayβs @globeandmail I showcase a vision for Torontoβs Old City Hall as a space for contemporary culture - opening this year. Letβs go.

The play is set in our village of #Glencoe #Ontario and is a dialogue between a married couple after their wedding reception. Everyone in in town attended the reception and was killed in an accident. The teaser acknowledges that the town is being fictionally destroyed again in this episode.
Viewer @42Fern42 commented, "the local writer writing about their whole local town being killed off sounds too personal XD There has to have been a show that maybe inspired this!"
The play in the teaser a spoof of Sean Reycraft's play, #OneGoodMarriage www.indigo.ca/en-ca/one-go...
Viewer @Galfrid commented on this episode, ""His" and "her" riding lawnmowers but only one ATV....? π€£π€£π€£"
I took piano for 9 years and at the end, I couldn't play a note.
... his response to my request was to demonstrate a song. He plunked on the keys and sang, "Rock and roll, rock and roll. Rock, rock, rock, rock, rock and roll. Something like that?" I was deflated. It was clear that there was no way to communicate with him.
The song in the teaser of this episode is based on my childhood piano teacher. He used to tell his students to "pound your keys like a big, strong man!" Also, he loaded us up with classical music to play and one time I asked if I could try something more contemporary ...
In episode 13 of #MuscleBodies, the group retreats to the farm to recover and grieve. Mac tries out the ultralight aircraft and cooks a large, last meal.

Great to know their CEO doesn't even understand how AI works. It's not anxious because it's conscious, dumbass. It's anxious because you've been scraping the social media of users living and posting through fucking unstable times.
This is the scariest photo I've seen in my 5 decades on this planet
Episode 11, the military episode. In the secret base, the military slowly learns that things are out of control. Meanwhile, the main group travels to a military relief shelter to find safety.

Messy painting of a blue person with three (5?) eyes against a red background. There are some tubes with electricity coming out of them also

In episode 10 of #MuscleBodies, the gang reaches the farm and the pause allows them to react and process what's happened so far. This episode mulls over the question, "Is country music disease ... or the best?"

The institutional buildings of 1960s Canada were extraordinarily well-built. Throwing them away would be madness.
The 1969 Science Centre is an incredible piece of architecture. It needs some work.
The new building complex is a kludge that will be inferior by any measure.
Here's an example of a "big budget" rough sketch. The opening shot of the episode is a flight over farms fields towards and then over the grain elevators outside of #Glencoe #Ontario, revealing an aerial view of the village. That single shot took an entire day of work.
Episode 9 of #MuscleBodies was the one that I'd been waiting to make. Once people saw this "big budget" episode, it would become clear where the story was going and the series would finally gain an audience. That's what I thought. And was I ever wrong.

Two panel comic. Panel 1: a museum display of a megalodon jaw fossil, with some museum goers standing around it. There is a graphic on the information tablet next to the fossil, depicting the approximation of the megalodonβs full size compared to a human. Panel 2: β3.6 million years ago:β we see the true megalodon as it existed, a small shark with ludicrously large, juicy lips.
Episode 8 of #MuscleBodies is an important bridging episode that establishes a few last story rules for this world. It also provided a change to figure out 4K production before the big episode 9.
