I'm at an age where I walk into a room and promptly forget why I'm there. At that point, I confidently stride over to a random object, pick it up, and return whence I came. I'll eventually have to return the lamp shade, but I refuse to loose face in front of my dog.
Me, too. I set it up yesterday. It worked... I think. I just have to figure out where the generated code was saved.
A keyboard and a cup of coffee.
Mouse sold separately.
can I code fast? no. but can I code well? also no. but does my code work? alas, no
One of my (yet to actioned) projects is fintech. Next month, I will also code in public. Right now, I'm figuring out the AT:// Protocol, the bsky.app source code, and how their federated network works. I want to drag Bluesky devs into a Whirlpool of Wonder while avoiding The Maelstrom of Misery.
I played with photographic cameras and torches. Therefore I wanted to be either a supermodel or a lighthouse.
December: The month I spend money on things I don't get to keep.
Morons, who spout opinions on topics they have no experience, suffer from the Dunning-Kruger effect. This is especially true of that bonehead I see in the mirror each morning.
Doomscrolling is *still* a thing. It's not MY thing, but each to their own. Now let me crawl under my rock where it's safe.
I gave this post a Like on my PC, but now it looks weird on my phone. I'm torn. Do I like it or not? Ah, decision made: Scroll to another post and never think about it again. Did you hear me, brain? I said NEVER.
I want to build bridges, and that starts with making friends. Having a Civil Engineering Degree doesn't hurt, either.

Teemo: Me, mommy, me. I'm a Good Boy!!

I don't have to be "always right". I'll happily settle for "not wrong".
Monty, a 5-year old Jack Russell Terrier.
This is Monty, my special little guy.
There's always Obsidian. I haven't tried it, but it's used as the foundation for a "second brain". I tried Notion but gave up after six months.
Now I just listen to the whooshing sounds as my deadlines go flying past.
I know your pain.
The thing about Swiss army knives is that they have lots of hidden, pointy bits that can poke out an eye. It's all fun and games until someone ends up in the emergency room. But yeah, Bun is fun.
Mmm... COMMAND.COM to fire up the DOS shell. Yummy.
My current desktop was an off the shelf generic PC. My last build was a Pi5 with 8GB, an NVMe hat, and a 512GB M.2 SSD.
Building PCs was fun. Until it wasn't.
I joined 3 days ago after avoiding social media for the last 4 years. I just want to crawl back under my rock, please. Oh, and welcome.
Time to install github.com/coleam00/bol... and set it up to run with Ollama. I'll test Bolt with DeepSeek Coder 2, Qwen 2.5 Coder, and Sonet 3.5.
I just want to see the quality of the code these tools generate.
No, seriously. There are no ulterior motives.
Unless it works. Then all bets are off!!
Ollama works well with my RTX3060 12GB GPU as long as I use LLM models that are under 20B parameters. I'm about to try out Ollama with Bolt.new (github.com/coleam00/bol...) to see if I can prototype full stack apps locally.
Let's have a go AT:// BlueSky. Just when I thought I was out, social media pulls me back in!!
