As far as biggest improvements between sequels go, Super Mario Land 1 to 2 has to be one of the biggest leaps. That first game is jank as hell

Getting a sd2snes back in 2015 or whenever it was has to be one of my better investments. Still works and just updated firmware on it and discovered it can now act as a Super Gameboy and play GB roms as well. Amazing piece of kit. Thank you @sd2snes.de

(Capture card is Elgato Game Capture Neo. 4K60 passthru, 1080p60 recording, no drivers needed, so it works out of the box on Mac.
Quality is kinda shitty because I use scanlines.)

I've just been depressed with modern games lately. You get a game, play it (thinking the entire time what old game you rather replay), and then forget about it. Then 1 year later you see the corporate anniversary post and think "no way" and then forget about it again. Feels so pointless.
