Photo of a stick on stick save done by the Team USA's goalie Colin Hellebuyck against Team Canada's Forward Devon Toews, during the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympic men's hockey finals. Photo by Jared Tilton.
Single post about #hockey this picture was the men's #Olympics hockey finals in a nutshell. Hellebuyck being the beast we knew he was, but due to the @winnipegjets.com being a disaster collectively on the road, didn't get to see much in the playoffs. All said, it was an incredible game.
He thought about it.

Man, what a game that was. Probably the most exciting hockey game I've watched since the first 9 seconds of USA v Canada in the 4 Nations Face Off.
I don’t really know what I expect in posting this, but maybe some people see it and can learn from it.
I’ll call it “lessons from an unwilling immigration attorney.”

Just buy that and y’all get filament? No need to arrange delivery or anything particular?
1/ ProPublica collected handwritten letters in mid-January from children held at the Dilley Immigration Processing Center, the same facility where 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos was taken.
Hundreds of kids are still detained.
We’ll let the children’s words speak for themselves. 🧵
I just want people to call them something other than “the red hats” because that description for headwear has been forever tainted in my mind and it makes posts like this a real roller coaster until my brain (slowly) catches up
Congratulations, and also thank you from a grateful nation for keeping the patriots at bay for another year.
I guess that presumes there was critical thought happening to begin with though 🤔
By being so mad that there’s Spanish on your TV that you stop being capable of critical thought I assume.
Perfect. Also I enjoyed Seattle the two times I was there! Sadly I didn’t get to do much since I was there for work reasons, but it was rad.
I hope your team is the Seahawks, because the Patriots are a great evil that needs to be defeated.
jeffrey epstein being the first domino for the financial crash, video game micro transactions, and Gamergate is making me lose my mind
This sounds like an origin story for an eco fascist
There was that guy the other day who got a visit from the Feds for sending an email asking them to be nicer to people
I don’t know why, but “you wouldn’t download a fire bomb” just popped into my head.
How do you not feel like an asshole you’re in the place that explicitly didn’t want you to be there??
Tbh the “I will get back in” post made my brain hurt. Like, outside all the other stuff, if someone told me they don’t wanna hang out/associate with me, trying to be like “you’re gonna hang out with me wether you like it or not” is insane to me.
Seems real bad that the end point of ~25 years of War on Terror architecture is an agency of thin-skinned goons who will send armed men to your house if you email the government asking for compassion on behalf of someone else.

Do you think it might have been a mistake to make the machine where we're supposed to get all our work done the same machine that we use to talk to everyone we've ever met, experience every song and movie ever made, watch porn, play video games, and fight to the figurative death with total strangers
Floored by this story. A man wrote a pollite email to a federal prosecutor objecting to the deportation of an Afghan seeking asylum. DHS responded with an administrative warrant to get the man's info from Google, then visited his home to intimidate him.
What I think keeps getting lost I'm The Discourse is that there is a difference between disagreeing with a tactic (strategically or even on moral principle) and *endangering* the folks engaged in that tactic.
Not for nothing, but recordings of Alex kicking out a taillight have been used to try and provide cover for ICE murdering him.
Every day Mamdani comes out and is like "hey guys, I turned off the orphan-crushing machine. Literally just had to flip a switch. Took less than 5 minutes."
After decades of dem leadership pissing and moaning and fundraising about how complex an issue it is and how difficult the process is etc
lol, now I’m sad that I felt sorry for him at first
Tbh even violent direct action is supposed to do _something_. It’s not violence for violence sake. If you don’t want a forest demolished and you set fire to the bull dozer, then your violence has done something. If you set a random trash dumpster on fire all you’ve done is inhale trash fumes.
